My wife and I knew we were going to be doing the lion’s share of the planning for our daughter’s 2016 wedding since she and her fiancé were both serving in the Navy on the west coast.  As two busy professional ourselves, we weren’t exactly sure how that was going to work out.  Our initial steps walking around our first-ever bridal show in early 2015 didn’t help ease our concerns about working with the many vendors we’d need – music, event coordinator, lighting and setup, photography, and videography, among others…but then we met Tommy and Valerie from Tommy Gatz Entertainment.

The day of the wedding was incredible – yes, for all the reasons you’d expect but also because Tommy, Valerie, and their entire crew of amazing professionals did everything humanly possible to make it a special day. From setup to ceremony to reception to conclusion it all flowed smoothly.

Part of that was the extraordinary amount of planning that had gone into it up to that point.  The larger parts, though, were the Tommy Gatz crew’s exceptional attention to detail in everything they did, and their collective ability to adapt on the fly for all the deviations from the plan that occur during any large event.  We attribute that to their complete professionalism but also, and perhaps more importantly, their intimate knowledge of what we were looking for on this special day due to all the personal conversations we had over the previous 13 months.

Their personal care didn’t stop when the event was over, either.  Within short weeks we had hundreds of perfect photographs and a video capturing the essence of the day so perfectly that it moves us emotionally no matter how many times we watch it.  We also have good friends in Tommy and Valerie, whom we know were as invested emotionally in the wedding as we were.  We can’t imagine having done it any other way.
