Bride Urania and groom Aristidis recently got married at the stunning St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Washington, D.C. followed by a reception at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland.

It was an absolutely gorgeous event that started around 12 p.m. and lasted until midnight! There were personal touches throughout the celebration that were similar to traditions from a Greek village wedding. This included the bride and groom being led in by two members of a band who were playing the clarinet and bouzouki (guitar) while the other member sang “live” a Greek traditional song as the bride and groom entered the ballroom.

Tommy Gatz Entertainment was thrilled to provide the professional photography, cinematography, DJ and Master of Ceremony services, as well as the event planning and coordination, uplighting, and photo booth.

It was wonderful that the Tommy Gatz Entertainment staff was able to experience such a beautiful and cultural wedding. We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness.
